Audition for murder

A new mystery series whose heroine is sleuthing actress Morgan Taylor of Chicago, that is when she can obtain a part, otherwise she works in an antique shop. While auditioning for a play, Taylor investigates the murder of an actress, followed by that of her replacement, both of whom were poisoned. The authors are a novelist and actress, respectively.
