How NoReads handles copyright, and how to submit a takedown request.

Respecting rights holders

NoReads publishes original editorial writing, metadata, and only those quotes we can show legally (public domain, licensed, publisher- or author-provided, or short fair-use quotations). We don't reproduce copyrighted books.

Submitting a takedown request

If you believe content on NoReads infringes your copyright, email hello@noreads.com with: your contact details, identification of the work, the URL of the material, and a statement of good-faith belief that the use isn't authorized.

We'll review and act on valid requests promptly, including removing or disabling access to the material.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may contact us to explain. We'll consider counter-notices in good faith.
