Dark heritage

Dale Palmer has been ignored for years by her parents and left to grow up in a convent school. When they are killed unexpectedly she falls to the care of their lawyer and at graduation moves to live with him and his mother. As she grows in confidence, she realizes that she is falling in love with her guardian. But a dark secret about her past prompts her to keep her distance from him.
