Hungerstone

An orphaned, emotionally isolated heiress with no money marries a cunning steel tycoon for a chance to build back her life. As their relationship progresses, she grows increasingly disturbed by her own desires, which are brought to the forefront by the mysterious woman they rescue upon their arrival to their new, decrepit, countryside estate. Set during the English industrial revolution, inspired by Sheridan Le Fanu's *Carmilla* (1872).
