This documentary film, which was created to accompany the exhibition, examines the life and career of James Castle who was born profoundly deaf in Idaho in 1899. As a result of his handicap he never received any formal artistic training yet he produced an amazing body of work. Included are photographs of the artist, and selected works of art, plus interviews with his surviving relatives, and art experts familiar with his work.
