Two years ago, Smith embarked on a mission to regain her sense of self. She was inspired to write her first inspirational work, P.S. Pray the Same For Me, following a spiritual journey that left several questions unanswered in her life. Smith crafted a book of bespoke prayers t her female ancestors, asking to be released from her inherited baggage while simultaneously praying for their souls. She felt that by addressing the "unfinished business" through an introspective journal of prayers and affirmations, she could seek help within herself, allowing history to heal itself and encourage others to do the same.
