With chapters entitled “Little Sisters Have Big Ears,” “Romance of Statistics,” and “Clothes Make the Man,” Seventeen is a captivating classic. So popular was the story, originally published in 1917, that in 1951 it found its way to Broadway’s Broadhurst Theatre.
