Special relationship

An English boy discovers his father is not his real father, that he is the son of a saxophone-playing, former Rhodes scholar who was at Oxford with his mother and who is now running for the U.S. presidency. The boy flies to the U.S. and the novel describes everyone's efforts to avoid a scandal.
